Windows Vista Low Memory Problem, Solution

If you are using windows vista Ultimate or any other vista version on
Intel Pentium 4 with 1GB DDR2 RAM than you may get low memory error
(Error: Your computer is low on memory. Save your files and close
these programs) when you will launch two or more applications at the
same time. If you are not getting error than you may definitely feel
the lower speed while opening of applications (more than 2
applications at the same time). To solve the problem, you will have to
increase your RAM size from 1GB to 2GB or 3GB.

Another solution you may try to check the page file settings for your
system by starting up the System properties. Click on the Advance tab
and click on Settings under Performance, then again click on Advanced
and click to the Change Button under the Virtual Memory Section. Now
here you can set the Size for the Page File as per your requirement.
This method can solve your above error problem. Even if you are not
getting the above Error (Error: Your computer is low on memory. Save
your files and close these programs) of low memory, still you check
this setting and set a size for the page file if it is not set
already. Thus you can solve your low memory problem while using
Windows Vista.
