Sun Microsystems has announced the release of Sun VirtualBox 2.2. which can support new Open Virtualisation Format called VOF. Virtual Box 2.2 software will allow you to build Virtual Machines or Appliances and you can easily import or export to any develop environment. There are new features added to Virtual Box 2.2 are 3D Graphics Accelerator, Hypervisor Optimisation etc. for Linux and Solaris applications using OpenGL. It is very easy to run server applications in Virtual Machines.
